Hotel Santo Tomas Ensenada, Ensenada

I stayed at this hotel on the street side, and it turned out to be a clean and large room with a great location, close to everything you'd want to see in most budget motels in the States. The service was a mix - not very attentive but continuously working on the property, which I appreciated. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the main tourist area. Dining options were limited but inexpensive at the Mexico Lindo Restaurant across the street. Overall, a decent stay with some hits and misses.

The hotel's location is clean and has a good location, fully wrapping around its own parking for total security. The rooms, however, are not much due to water pressure issues and being very old. The service was friendly and helpful, even for a subpar room. The dining experience across the street at Mexico Lindo Restaurant was disappointing, having to pay extra for basic items, which I found unusual. However, the continuous property maintenance was a plus.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and overlooked Calle Miramar, which was a nice touch, although the highway view was a downside. The location was fantastic, being close to everything, but the dining experience was a bit lacking as the restaurant was not on-site and additional fees were required for certain services.
